This whole running a business thing is really hard, we know! We were recently on a podcast (profit by design-a must listen!) and we realized that there are so many lessons that we have learned that we want to share with our clients and entrepreneur community. Work hard and stop looking for short-cuts. No this does not mean efficiency just short cuts. We have been really strategic to put systems and processes in place so that when we work hard we work smart.
Sales and referrals-We were so scared when we started that we didn’t charge enough, we didn’t collect past due invoices quick enough and we didn’t ask for clients to refer us. As you grow in your business become more confident in the way you do business. You and your product are worth every penny that customer is going to pay you so charge enough to make a profit and ask for the sale.
Celebrate! As business owners we are always focusing on what needs to be done and what can be done better. Focus on what went well for the company and your team and watch how it changes your culture.
